It was not intended

that I should have caused all this fuss,

Just that I started laughing

while sitting on the bus.

Well the man sitting in front me

he took offence

said that I

was laughing at his bald head.

Then the driver of the bus

he refused to move

until I made ahmends

and appologised.

I remonstrated that they were wrong

then a voice piped up

so it was me you were laughing at all along.

Well I looked around

to see who spoke

and saw a man in a Batman cloak.

Oh no no I began to say

been a fan for many a day.

By now the bickering had escalted

with everyone getting quite heated

so I slipped off the bus

quite unseen

left them there parked

by The Green.

Have to learn not to laugh

when by myself in public places

seems to cause misunderstanding

and even that has got me laughing.
