Reflections?

Theres an odd looking fella

in my mirror,

some say it is supposed to be me,

but Here I draw the line

there is no simarlarity.

You see I am me

in the flesh and blood

that odd looking could not be

well ask him his name!

go on if you can,

he wont answer a word

cause he knows he's a fraud,

just body synching all day long.

You know I told him

gave him what for

said 'Get a job, there's the door.'.

Do you think he listened

just lip synched my words

mocked me he did

its getting on my nerves.

Look at him glaring

nothing better to do,

just hanging around

and stare at the view.

Got him caught the other day,

breathed on the mirror

hid him away.

What do you do

with someone like that?

someone who only stares right back,

got so bad I turn out the light

cant bear to look on that

awful sight.

John,

Absolutely beautiful. Taking a good, hard look at ourselves is scary. I wrote something similar to this when I wrote "The Mirror". Name is not very original I guess.
