How far, how long does sound travel?

Words that pass through my lips fly through the air as if they have wings, no longer belonging it seems to me they drift into the ethereal of Flying Thoughts Radio. I broadcast them intended for somone to hear set them free they are out there somewhere, how long for how far will they travel does sound go on forever. Those flying thoughts have been around since the day I first made a sound, I wonder what wavelength they are broadcast on whether anyone listens to my life going on.
