Many of Jesus' own people did not accept Him as 'Messiah'. But let us not judge them too harshly for, given the time and the circumstances...who would have thought? (Please see my 'article' with the same title)

*Who would have thought...?* *that Mary's precious baby* *who was wrapped in swaddling clothes* *and laid in a manger* *would one day grow and* *be revealed as* *the Redeemer, a life changer?* *%%%* *Who would have thought...?* *that the youngster who would choose* *to stay behind and 'do His father's work'* *was indeed the Prince of Peace, the Comforter* *who would root out darkness* *wherever it might lurk?* *%%%* *Who would have thought...?* *that He…who was born in a barn* *and sought for John’s baptism* *was 'The Lord' identified by David in a Psalm?* *that the despised and rejected of men* *was the Sacrificial Lamb,* *the Great ‘I AM’…* *indeed...Gilead's Healing Balm?* *%%%* *Who thought the child was the Morning Star…* *that His blood… destined to be shed on Calvary…* *would stand throughout centuries?* *that He was indeed the Chosen One...* *the Promised Messiah...* *who would save us all* *and one day lead us home… to eternity?* *%%%* *Who…would have thought?!* Matt 1&2, Luke 2, Jhn 19&20, Ps 110:1 copyright; 2007(revised 2019)-jmsbell

A timeless gem!

Who would have thought...?

that the youngster who would choose

Yes, who would have thought? but then we realize that we are talking about man, the one that brags to be God's chosen but the same one that didn't came forward for fear of his own safety.
