Marriage, which was established by God, is a serious undertaking. I believe that true love is not based on caring for another because of similarities, but that it is based on caring 'despite' dissimilarities. I believe that many rely too much on themselves to make a marriage work. I believe that when God brings two people together, He keeps them together and, If He is allowed to, He can and He will perform the blessed 'miracle' of molding two...into one. When my baby girl got married a few years ago...this is what I was inspired to pen...

To Tiffany and Frank... Simply Beautiful .. Its filled with good wishes and advice.. I believe many things in life are prordained , but not all...She must have been so pleased to receive this special gift from you.. It reminds me of one I wrote for my daughter when she married over 20 yrs ago. It was not as eleoquent as your poem!...M

You are so very right, the world would have us believe the complete opposite concerning marriage. I am glad I am married to a man who respects God's word just like I do. No marriage is perfect but with God on our side we shall and we will conquer anything the world or satan has to throw at us. Thank you, great write.

In an age where 50% of marriages get off hand easy quick divorces, it is refreshing to hear that there are people that still have faith in the family institution of marriage.

This is a very good poem and a lesson for all. My wife and I have been married 36 years, and we got married when we were 17. I don't know what I would do without her, she is my best friend, and we have been through better and worse, sickness and health. May God bless you every day of your life.
