“Among The Known”

Pure of soul
Deep of heart
Among the known
But wander in darkness
Doubting footsteps
For what tomorrow might bring
Wandering down the valley of hope
Down rocky mountain
Where bright sunbeam fall
Pure of soul
Deep of heart
Among the known
But still wander in the dark
Steps limp now
Caring the burden of life
Curved swords and spears of hate
Wounded… bruised heart
Lost the road of trust
But pure of soul
Deep of heart
Among the known
Nature never let her down
Make her act like a clown
With tears and a frown
Peering eyes
Leaving no trace
Of life!!

Very sad feelings indeed. Please keep your head up and march around, believing that positive things are going to touch your life and something wonderful is just around the corner! No point in feeling down, it will just gather negativity, making a cloud hide your own essence of light. Allow the Light of the Lord to be able to shine on you Tinka, my girl. For soon in the very near future your life will take on a new meaning and happiness will abound!
Believe the old Rev huh? I am praying for you too.
Blessings dear lady, Rev Davey

Life certainly can be tough at times, all one can do is press on, until the light of joy shines once again. Lots of nice smile in your photo.

What a beautiful picture above your poem.
This poem is very deep and I feel much sorrow and pain in it.
I have always known Tinka from reading your work that you have a very deep empathy with bruised hearts and sometimes your poetry tugs me into sitting up straight and becoming very alert,it wakes me up.
That's power
and
your poems have it.

Tink? You can come here, as family... We'll give you a taste of just-living-'cause-we're-alive taste, with no pressures, and some of Jerry's mom's cinnamon bread, I have a loaf in the freezer with your name on it...

Such diverse faces, diverse beliefs glowing out of your picuture's face... We cannot hope all grow at the same time, have to learn to love without what we want in return, but, you do have it, Tinka. You have many friends who love you and your soul. :)

Tinka, an exceptionally well-penned heartfelt composition my friend. Life is always full of unknowns, yet, it is in ones nature to search out to achieve and find tranquility and harmony. An excellent piece of poetry, and the wonderful picture of you and your family, helps compliment this piece quite well. Take care.

Life can be so confusing at times...being known yet having no knowledge of what lies beyond in the great "unknown"...

this piece had a very interesting style and i enjoyed it because i felt it was left open to interpretation. Nice work.

Is this your family? Beautiful pic!

Ann
