*A Shower Dream* *“Disappointment”* *She stopped by for a visit* *But nobody opened the “door”* She leaned back against the shower wall *Closed her eyes… hoping to see him there* *But got swept away within a dream* *He scooped her up* *And kissed her into confusion* *Of total joy and laughter* *Swinging her around* *While laughing joyfully himself* *Put me down!!* *She cried out joyfully* *But she clung to him* *Never to let go of him again* *Eyes sparkling with excitement* *Her hair escaped from a bun* *A wisp of her hair* *Hanging down her rosy cheek* *It’s so good to be in your arms again* *She smiled* *With a tender look in her eyes* *He kissed her tenderly* *And hold her so very close* *Just standing there* *Deeply in loves embrace* *The sound of a call brings her back* *The smile died upon her lips* *She made a small choking sound* *And she cried* *Knowing* *It was just another* *Shower dream* *But “mission” accomplished well* *Copyright © 2005 Tinka Boukes* All Rights Reserved
