I can smell the wind coming from the ocean And waves tumbling turning red As the sun goes down in the west Our love has gone away with it Your words were bitter like almond bread Your eyes betrayed me With your last kiss Your love was already dead And my love taken away from me Like a dark coat Loneliness comes my way Covers me up in sorrow Between scattered glass Covering me up with darker thoughts Until the flickering of the flame goes out And only leaves behind the ashes I am telling my story to the ocean and sand And it washed away by the current And brushed ashore into my face And I wish it would go away To another world to see And I want to turn my back And try and walk away But where there was pain in my body There is only emptiness to hide away And I wish I could lose this heart Or exchange it for another Loneliness covers me up In that dark coat of sorrow I will wait till tomorrow For you to come back

Salt tears must mingle with the oceans salt water to give your poems the magic that you always have their. The heartache, the longing and the quiet hope that maybe some day life as you knew it will return. YOu capture these feelings and share them with your readers honestly and openly and we feel your feelings and long to take the pain away.
