Just a thought after a long horrible day!!

But I am okay thanks to

“My-key"

The Thought Of Death

It's a long and lonely road
Along this long road of life
Comes love, heart ache's and pain
Loneliness became part of who I am
Alone I have been on this road of love
Alone on the road of happiness
Alone on the road of battle
The sharp curves of anger
The sharp words of bitterness
The sharp reality
Of no turning back
The sharp voice of death
There was a time to enjoy
There was a time to except
There was a time to cry
There was a time to trust
There was a time to believe
But then came the time to break
Time to let go
Time to mistrust
Time to misbelieve
Time to let loose
No more holding on
No more tears
No more heartache
No more fighting
No need to pray
No need to turn around
No need to cry
No need to love
No need to carry on
Time to die
Bye

This world sometimes tend to weigh down upon us and seem unbearable. Tiredness of the day to day struggle gets to the point where we don't think we can go on. This poem captures that mood but fortunately for us things always have a way of changing and we find the goodness and the extra hands to hold up the world that seemed so heavy only a while ago. Great poem Tink.

Tinka,

We all have our bad days. TRUST me. But I will not let death have me. Been there--but now I have something to live for, can unload all of my anger, frustration and loneliness (as well as happy moments) on the page, be done with it. Poof, healing in writing, it's gone. At least for me.

Powerfully expressed angst--I agree with George and Peter.

You're in my prayers...(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Learning a new job is the PITS! Hate what I'm doing, trying to stick it out, ain't easy. Keep me in your prayers, Karen, too. Especially her.

When we lose someone, it is a kind of death. You know how to express that pain. Your runner -- what might s/he be running from or to? Thought provoking. Glad you do carry on through your poetry. R

... Think you is singin me Mum's song, Tinka!! Guess there just comes a time, for both the living and the dying, when all the "bracing up and getting on" just will not wash any more... at least, for the moment... and what is REALLY needed is just to give it up, give in and to get real so that, facing the issues that grieve squarely, can perhaps present a new way in which to tackle them again. Like the raw honesty here and am relieved that you is just on a justifiable rant. Bless you!! :)) LOL Kate xx

George is right Tinka
You must not harbor thoughts of death, it is very debilating and crippling !
When you are full of living, you do not fear death, you just meet it when it comes with faith and trust in God !

Death is often a thought when things go wrong. Good capture of this emotion. Glad to read that you are okay or I might of become concerned.
