Minutes ticking by

Over dark waters…

Horizons away from me

Another storm raging high above
Trying to smile…to forget the reason why

As I sit waiting for you

I listen to the still whispers of the night

I know another that feels the same

Horizons away from here

Slowly and silently I wipe the tears away

It seems like a dream… but
I know a place that holds the sky close

If only I could sail away…

Sail away to your loving arms

To sit in solitude

Watch the distant shores with you
