Wow! I know all to well how it feels to ride that emotional ride. With my divorce, and lost a dear loved one this paints a vivid pic of how I feel. But it's poems like this and friends like you here at the den that help pull me through.I can't thank you enough for this beautiful poem.

Awww, this is so sad, Tinka. It's hard to ride the emotional roller coaster, sometimes, I know. Thank God those feelings aren't there all the time and we can tuck them back away.

Oh Tinka this is sensitive and terrifying at the same time, I know sometimes though that we all feel like that, the good news is that we are lucky to have such good friends here on the den to offer us lifelines when we need them.

The swirling vortex, yes. Very well sketched, Tinks, in both emotional and pictoral terms. Think sometimes we just have to let it loose and go with the flow, don't you? Atdemo, I'm finding that to jump is surprising... having let go of the fear, I am possibly both sinking with grace and swimming with dignity and new-found self-awareness. Does that make sense?
