“Suicide”

How can I face another day?

How can I go on living?

Without hope one more time

When it just keeps on taking smiles away

How can love survive?

Without a smile now absent from my face

Each bloody smile

That thing I’m still holding on for dear life

Then one thing that keeps on ruining my day!!

Money, money, bloody money!

How can I survive another downfall?

When financial suicide keeps poking me

Money the suicidal factor yet again

That’s driving me to the edge of madness

That keeps on telling me to jump

That keeps on flooding my eyes

It keeps on grabbing me by the throat

To squeeze every bit of Life out of me

Every hope left of a better tomorrow…

Squeezed right out of me one more time

How can I go on and on and on…

When these suicidal thoughts keep mocking me?

Keeps telling me to give up the fight

To just fall asleep…to never wake up

To face another tomorrow dressed in black

How can I ever survive without you?

The only thing that will always bring back

The smile in times like this is Your love

Tinka,
I have been at this place. It is very scary indeed. the only thing that kept me from really pulling the trigger was knowing the sadness it would bring my lovely daughter. God bless her. She'll never know she has saved her daddy's life many times....
"suicide is a permenant solution to a temporary problem"
This to shall pass......
With much love and empathy,

Think of this, Dear Friend: God gave you life. How will you explain yourself when you tell him his gift is unworthy, that you've decided to throw it away before you've even fully unwrapped it?

As a young child I endured unthinkable abmoninations and truly wanted life to end. I didn't even know about the concept of suicide.

I'm seventy-four, now. I know that things can and do change. I know that God has a plan for me. From the life that I wanted to end came a loving companion of sixty years together. I am blessed beyond belief!

In the athletic field of Track and Sprints, the runner is disqualified when he makes a false start. He'll never know whether he could have won the grandest prize of all.

Don't disqualify yourself. God has a plan for you. You didn't ask me, but I'm telling you true from my heart: Miracles can and do happen. Give God a chance.

And now everyday, I say the words without reservation: "Thank you God!"

Richard

When everything seems the worst, scream the loudest you can, and sing praise songs! Let God show you how Reeeeeeeeeeeeally Wonderful He created you. Look at his mercy, his grace that you really didn't deserve but got. Remember what he gave that you might have the liberty to come to Him freely, He gave His Only Begotten Son! There is hope if you believe! How about reading Psalms 118:24!

Powerfully wrenching piece....I agree with Richard; we ALL face times like these. Remember where you came from (Heaven!) and where you are going (Heaven!) See? You feel better already, don't you?!

Love you - always here if you need to talk. Rhonda

Tinks you might have poemed quite a few of others same type sorrow, only you have the nerve to put it in verse. I slipped a few times then deleted, I might verse but strength is my curse, I don't die easy, neither do you, you'd never lived to ink this if you weren't a strong person

Tinka,

Please, please tell me you're okay: suicide is not worth it. To me, it's selfish: YOUR pain may be over, but to those you leave behind, theirs is just beginning....you're in my prayers, sweetie.

An intriguing composition... “Suicide” makes me think on the positive way, once the matter dealt in it is more finance's related.

I have enjoyed the reading of "“Suicide”".

I have heard that suicide is unpainful...tell that to the left behind.
I have heard that suicide is the cowards way out...tell that to the poor wretched by terminal cancer begging to put an end to the pain.
I have heard that suicide is the daughter of Desperation and Solitude.
When those thoughs come one most search for two embracing arms to get protection.
Suicide isn't unpainful, no way.
