Just trying to get rid of my blues today!!
Because pink flew away …blue stepped in!!

**************

My Search For Pink

I need peace in my heart

It’s yearning and it vibrates in my body
Because I am walking faster… and faster
I am exhausted
Emotions turned to blue
I feel like running away
Away from every damn thing around me
I feel like crying but I cannot do that
I can’t even think straight
My back-muscles are so very tight
My whole system is vibrating
As I run to the nearest quiet place
Miles away from home
I have no damn clue…

But silence is what I need for now
I need stability in my life
But the chances are slim…
Blue step right back in

Boy, I can sure relate to that vibrating within - happens to me the same way Sissy. That heart sure takes a lot of abuse sometimes. Silence for me also is a way of healing, and I seek after it always. I totally relate to this. You rock the Casbah!

I hate those days.
Take a different tack.
Try yellow.
But I must admit pink is my favorite.
Good write. Easy to relate to.

Don't you hate days like these??? But, I guess we need them to lie down, zone out and refresh. I needed one of these today since my meds for fibro ran out the other night and has messed me up for 2 days, lol, so I was and am, sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy! Hope you are feeling better and thanks for your review of my recent poem. Blessings to you, my friend, Michelle

Go back and read my Serenity again, oh wait, what the heck, I'll just paste it here for ya:

Earth’s most perfect spot
wings, serenity and peace
victor over pain
deep belief in love prevails
vicious dragons will be slain

There you go, Tinka. I wrote it for situations like yours. Hope it lifts you up a little!

I don't see how you do it, Tinka, ninety percent of the time you are yearning, hurting, pining or something . . . I would be a mental wreck if I had to live like that . . . Hope you find what you want sooner rather than later . . .

Tink, give up the think,
to get back to pink,
in your heart,
you're really smart,
get away from the head,
from there the blues you get.
