Poem Artwork

"Slowly but steadily... making it towards Payday.

I am so broke - I can't even pay attention"

Beyond…Heavens I Cry

When everything look so dark and evil

To horizons across the sea I call

Beyond…heavens I cry out

Where there is no one to hear

Please calm these emotions deep

The stormy weather of my thoughts

This is very eerie Tinka. I can actually identify with this and I have wished for years that the stormy weather of my thoughts would turn into white clouds, and a soft breeze. Thank you for sharing.

May The Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

An excellant write Tinka, filled with longing, hope, a little dispair and yet the knowledge that somewhere out there in this cold dark world, someone will hear and understand. Thank you for sharing such deep emotions.

Brought to mind a favourite gospel hymn, 'The Golden Shore'. I think the chorus goes something like 'The half cannot be fancied, this side the golden shore, but oh life will be much sweeter than it ever was before.'
Fits in well with your sentiments, ones that I too have aired not a few times.
