Right after reading Eileen's poem of Morbid Eyes, I got inspired to write this short poem. This is just the way I understood it and not necessarily to be reflecting the thoughts on which the poem was based.
The sinister look in her morbid eyes
Nearly broke his big humble heart
As the gloom hovering her face
Forced him to flinch back
He held his eyes fixed on hers
She was Mother Nature
The insatiable minds of mankind
Had destroyed her with Greed
Man should stop seeking pleasure
In the most cruel and heinous ways
