Illustrated poem about things not always being as they should ... even in the holiest of places. This is clipart. *****

Cockroached In every church there are a few old cockroaches warming up a pew, whispering secrets or stretching truth, lies. Once upon a time one sat in disguise rubbing shoulders with the righteous though there were a few he didn’t trust. Every faith has ‘bugs’ here or there: gossipers, a preacher who doesn’t care … all roaches, hot air. Disgrace His temple— the TRUTH covered up, too boring, simple. Busy! The righteous aren’t listening … prefer peace without any bickering. In every place there are way too many old cockroaches with insides empty who stir up trouble (words, deeds) for us all. Lacking courage …FIRE … wagging tongues, liar! Exterminate, the congregation is bugged! Everyone ‘roached’—God, Himself, will then judge! copyright 2008 Sandra S. Corona “I Found Him”

BINGO!!! Each and every church has more than it's fair share and needs this kind of loving fumigation! In fact, most of us Christians do, too. Very interesting perscpective and well written piece. Never thought of a cockroach being in a church, but I guess they're all over, figuratively speaking.
