Illustrated poetry--copyrighted art of my son and me--as a memoir to my only son, Gregory Douglas Turner, Aug. 8, 1969-Dec. 3, 1992. His murderer (a love triangle) is doing 20 years-LIFE in the Ohio State Prison for the most violent murder up to that time ('92). ******************

Firstborn There is something special, unique about the firstborn. You seek to provide their every need. We protect loved ones in deeds. Loved before you were born, after, despite your death, all disasters. I’m with you wherever you are. Love lingers on, takes us far. Close enough to kiss; loving you, can’t miss when feeling like this. Murder tore two hearts asunder … one lived. There is such peace—special, unique— about the firstborn … ‘tis sweet. Heaven, God, placed you within me, so perfect for our family. Loved before you were born, after, despite trials, we shared laughter. I breech walls for us, son to kiss, embrace you … have fun. Love lingers, a mist, each wet touch, a kiss. Between us exists a love bound by hearts asunder … you lived! copyright 2008 Sandra S. Corona "Wings"
