Remiss Water

The ebb and flow of water gurgling
is wondrous, remarkable … enchanting.
Waves dance o’er pebbles skipping to stream
and their rhythm is cool, soothing.
One can feel troubles oozing.

Reversing Falls, New Brunswick, Canada--
high tide … flows into the Bay of Fundy;
low tide … it reverses back to the river.
Nothing else like it exists--
this reversal quirk is remiss.

Precisely executed perfection,
a fluid body that can make one THINK
unlike any water you cook with, drink …
mysterious mystery
an invitation to go, see.

Salt Lake is the only INLAND salt lake.
Many puzzle over this natural mistake.
Anyone can float, won’t sink, don’t quake.
Nothing else like it exists--
its salty state is remiss.
