In the beginning
gentle waters
seep through crevices
and valleys galore--
awash in soothing praise.
The hushed, living stream
erupts with emotion,
then quickly subsides.
Golden sunsets,
glistening on the horizon,
soon sift in the twilight.
Our weary bones,
saddled and harnessed
by shallow streams,
sleep in the calm.
