Wasn't it Ronald Reagan (Ray Gun) that said America did not have any homeless? Just came back from Watching Slumdog Millionaire. I wonder how long before America's slums look like the ones in that movie? ‘Casino Outcasts’ vividly reminds me of someone standing by an American freeway off ramp looking through the window at someone riding inside a BMW or Mercedes and the one looking in sleeps on the streets. The window, probably bullet proof, stays up and there is no eye contact.
What a sad life for some. I always sympathize with the unfortunate people. I always wondered what it was when they weren't on the street; what have they done to cause them there.
I wish the government would help these street people and give them a roof over their heads...at least. No one deserves to be on the street.

..too sad, though under the boardwalk they are better protected from the elements than living on the street in a cardboard box...though actually, none should be living on any street as this country has the wherewithall to provide housing and sustenance...but what do i know...Ed

I seen an elderly fellow in this grocery store who needed a serious shower, I didn't realize till I seen him sneaking to put potatoes in his coat that he had no place to clean up. It's so sad....
