Sh! . .

Calm. . .

The wind

Died down;

The blossoms

Have fallen off;

Birds stop chirrup

That has been taken

As the Dharma's song,

But not anymore, hear? . .

The hill slope grows dark--

This miracle lull is a portent

Of the coming rainstorm in May.

Love this . . . quiet verisimilitude, a tone (and mood) poem anyone could ever want, right up to the hush. Well done. I need to try my hand at this. John
