Poem Artwork

Rising from the high-water lake,

A crane's call soars up to heaven;

Without any sign of self-restrain

It flies out beyond the snowy clouds --

There is no way to catch it back.

Rung out from the bottom of heart

It pierces up to the seventh sky,

Penetrating into all kind souls

Accumulated in the Celestial Pond.

Truly, the echo responds to the call.

I've also heard people use to say,

'A bad penny always comes back.'

Interesting use of Nature to express the always epiphany aspect of Nature's subtext.

Sounds like the law of cause and effect. Still, the image, or perhaps I should say heart-felt sound of the crane soaring heavenward fills the spirit. Small wonder that its echo should do the same, if not more.
