Verse 1 She knows I'm going to devote Everything to my artwork, And that knowledge Makes me suffer a lot. Verse 2 Alone in the house With a soft breath of my old cat, I've locked my eyes -- Still can't fall Into an elusive sleep. Verse 3 I'm lingering here For a long time Keeping creating a dream And, apparently, It's happening.

The writer's dilemma. One gets an idea about what to write in the form of a dream and it keeps you awake. Like me last night, rearranging a chapter I haven't written yet.
