Poem Artwork

Tonight we are going
To have a full moon’s shine.
How about getting a tub
With a reflected surface
And a handmade houseboat on it
With a few musicians indeed?

Tonight we are going
To have a wizard’s gown made,
And when our magic is accepted
By the moon’s Queen,
We shall be indeed the carefree kings
Of the mountain range under her reign.

Tonight we are going
To have got the happiness of heart.
First we thought there was no one
To share this happiness with us,
But they were shadows of bamboos
And pines cast by the moonlight --
The carefree edges like the two of us,
And the brilliant disc followed us mute.

Nice. You are a romantic at heart.

This almost certainly has some whimsical paradoxes like a houseboat full of musicians in a tub and a brilliant disc (the moon) following us mute?

Besides being a full moon, It's also my wife's b-day. What a combination.

Ah yes, I saw the moon last night rising over the Gulf waters as I did my run, filling me with, as you say, "the happiness of heart", "there was no one to share this happiness with." You have done so for me.
