Captivating Moments


Upon the misty mountain,
with snow covered peaks,
waterfall’s cascading fountain,
is the solitude one seeks.

The air is pure and clean,
but chilling to the bone,
the deer are fast and lean,
you sense your not alone.

Eagle soaring in the sky,
birds with a chirping tease,
wondering, you ask why,
it brings you to your knees.

Captivating moments felt,
as time seems to pause,
from what life has dealt,
no one fighting for a cause.

Enchanting land so rare,
at our own finger tips,
warm hearts to share,
a kiss upon your lips.
