Serenity Enchanted


Once upon a mountain top so high,
the wind blowing upon your face,
looking around at the vast blue sky,
sensual beauty of satin and lace.

Nature glorious being, such an effect,
raw beauty sends shivers down your spine,
such perfection you just want to protect,
it’s essence surround the corridors of time.

A majestic eagle soars high up above,
white caps glisten with rainbow light,
pure and angelic as a snow white dove,
the stillness of beauty is such a sight.

Lost in the harmony of nature’s glow,
makes one forget all our earthly woes,
pastures of green where the river flows,
there, gracefully stands, three grazing does.

Land of enchantment, here on earth,
a gift from heaven, to one and all,
exist the serenity, we long for since birth,
found beneath the evergreens so tall.
