Flowering Essences


With a radiant amber it glows,
emanating from a single flower,
sweet fragrance softly flows,
moisten by a spring shower.

Gift from the heavens above,
found within our finite reach,
a symbol of nature’s love,
the sweet nectar of a peach.

Flowers sleep in the night,
fading away in the cold dark,
blooming pastels in the light,
to the music of a singing Lark.

Complexity beyond compare,
growing in a field of dreams,
rapture for each of us to share,
away from society’s screams.

A simple flower gives hope,
soothing our spiritual needs,
it’s essences keeps us afloat,
allowing us to hear the pleads.
