Soothing Fragrance


Sweet fragrance of morning flowers,
imbues the spring air beyond compare,
just winding away the lonesome hours,
engulfed in raw splendor without a care.

Beneath the never-ending dark blue sky,
lying upon the moist soft grass of green,
forgetting all the earthly questions of why,
breathing the crisp air so fresh and clean.

Lost in the wonderment of this vast land,
trying to escape from society’s deception,
from the tall trees to each grain of sand,
one with nature, brings a basic perception.

Mystery is found in the wind that blows,
it is the peace and tranquility of the day,
answers to what no one ever really knows,
but often is how we finally find our way.

Simplicity is the key we must learn to cherish,
found in natures secrets but created up above,
for in the passage of time, we all will perish,
lost in our arrogance or the bliss of eternal love.
