War A Human Condition

A simple knock upon the door,
heart racing, raging with fear,
a land torn by the act of war,
many die, and we shed a tear.

The bombs explode over head,
as fighting wages another day,
many lay upon the ground dead,
through history it’s just our way.

For man was just meant to fight,
friends and family can’t get along,
we’re never learn to see the light,
hearing the words, singing a song.

Peace has never been known to last,
consumed by the greed and power,
check the history, check the past,
love turns to hate, and we devour.

Sad reality of this world we live,
peace, to blood flowing tomorrow,
if we had the love to eternally give,
our serenity wouldn’t be borrowed.

"...Peace has never been known to last,

So true. There will never be peace at or in anything as long as man walks the earth.
