Solitude of Spirit


Placid beauty of Spring flowers,
radiates with the glow of the sun,
moisten by gentle April showers,
another day in life has just begun.

Wonders of nature, we believe,
caught in the rapture of the light,
such tranquility for us to conceive,
one with nature the spirit is bright.

The essence of solitude and peace,
nature’s serenity each day it shares,
allowing us each a new eternal lease,
knowing there is a God, who cares.

Hearts with joy, just want to laugh,
the water is heard rushing the falls,
keeping balance with a hardy staff,
away from society long narrow halls.

Meaning of life found in the river,
flowing ever so fast, a mighty rage,
yet it’s promise it always delivers,
resting on nature’s prismatic stage.
