Waterfall


Waterfall cascading down,
from the mountain so high,
at the outskirts of the town,
beneath the vast velvet sky.

With a rush and constant roar,
the might water forever loud,
sounding like it’s at your door,
it’s mighty presence so proud.

It’s just gravity’s natural flow,
water tumbling to the ground,
it possesses a mystical glow,
a captivating spirit all around.

One of nature’s magical spells,
felt in the fall’s misty spray,
solitude upon which we dwell,
coping with another busy day.

Reflective lights are captured,
glistening from the bright sun,
colors of the rainbow’s rapture,
a work of art that is never done.
