Raindrops Cast

 

A gentle morning shower drifting to the ground,

falling from an artistic fog like a cloud in the air,

raindrops bouncing lightly as they hit all around,

washing away winter’s sleep with cleansing care.

 

Daylight breaks capturing the early dawn’s sky,

fashioning colorful prisms with a reflective glow,

gazing out at the rainbow in wonderment of why,

a scent of fresh flowers permeates the air that flows.

 

Spring holds the promise of another new tomorrow,

magical raw essence instills us with heartfelt hopes,

knowing we live in a society where time is borrowed,

nature’s splendor enlightens us with the tools to cope.

 

With each raindrop, is cast a magical, mystical spell,

overflowing with dreams that may one day come true ,

discovered here in this wonderland in which we dwell,

the truth of which turns the sky a deep shade of blue.

 

In the showering mist never knowing what life will hold.

we reluctantly journey down life’s lonely begotten path,

in the cleansing rain revived we go forward ever so bold,

knowing that whatever adversities we face will not last.
