Flower

Roses bloom on a Spring’s Day,

giant Austin to prim roses true ,

colors of the rainbow early in May,

beneath the vast sky of emblem blue.

A floral scent permeates the air,

as a warm breeze begins to flow,

sights and smells of nature to share,

mystical beauty we come to know.

Nature abounds with satin and lace,

for splendor can be found all around,

in spite of society’s fast moving pace,

we stop to look it can be so profound.

Simplicity of life is nature’s true gift,

reality of it’s beauty continues to unfold,

just stopping to see will given us a lift,

the essence of oneness is there to behold.

Meaning of life is not found in dreams,

in selfish acts of greed, or for power,

nor does it exist in mankind’s schemes,

rather it’s found in a simple little flower.

Simplicity of life is nature’s true gift, ***** yes, when time's were more simple [less complicated], we seemed to enjoy life. Those times may have been difficult, but the love that surrounded us was unlike what we see today. Running here and there, running everywhere. Never time to stop and just look. Sorry, need to get off my soap box.
