Harmonic Calling

The sky a solemn shade of gray,
a mist in the air, a hint of blue,
waves clashing with a wet spray,
tales of long ago told ever so true .

Across the sea the white caps dance,
lashing out with a unique hollow roar,
mesmerizing motion creates a trance,
while the seagulls high above do soar.

One can not tell by the salty sea,
where it ends and meets the sky,
an illusion of what is; what will be,
mysteries of nature we wonder why.

A world of water living all it’s own,
defying the essence of natural time,
sounds voicing her immortal tones,
upon the mossy rocks wave do climb.

The sea beckons with an harmonic call,
heard across the land we call our home,
vibrations echoing in hearts one and all,
bringing a cravening to spirits that roam.

Sam, the rhyme and rhythm is great in this poem, it flows, as does the ocean, in grace and with beauty. The images you portray bring energy to my soul and fill me to the brim. I love the ocean & love poems written about it. This is truly exceptional.

...in this write...waves of the sea...become song of ink...heard within a timeless shell...of a beating heart...asking.
well done Samuel...

This has such a nice feel to it, just rings as the sea draws us nearer and nearer....

Be always safe,

Craving is the magic word when nature gives us her magic as like her seas and lands far away. I'm the gypsy and I could've written this as you found my weakness.
Blessings and love,
Susan
