Shadows cast in the morning light,
reflecting upon the mirrored pond,
eyes beholding such a tranquil site,
a Doe came to drink with her fawn.
Trees of evergreen reaching the sky,
surround the shore in a natural way,
a place of tranquility yet ever so shy,
essence through time seems to stay.
A gentle soft breeze cools the warm air,
permeating fragrance of Spring flowers,
Rainbow trout jumping to nature’s dare,
away from society’s greed that devours.
Such captivating moments standing there,
in awe of nature’s beauty forever so rare,
losing track of time and one’s earthly wares,
oneness of nature once felt is always shared.
Birds in flight soaring in the sky high above,
the crickets sounding there merry little tune,
surely a wondrous gift of God’s heavenly love,
nature’s blessing enjoyed under the sun and moon.
Explore the mystery of how nature makes unexpected gifts of creative wonders to an unsuspecting caregiver one late night and early morning in southeastern Georgia, USA.
