Ecstasy and Grandeur


Glittering reflection in the morning light,
casting shadows that dance in the breeze,
signs of hope after a long lingering night,
nature’s raw brilliance fulfills our needs.

Rainbow of flowers in colors ever so rare,
meadows of plush green grass softly wet,
simplicity by design for us each to share,
many never do see the beauty time has set.

Lost in a social world of materialistic goals,
often blinded to the rapture before our eyes,
want of wealth and power darkens the soul,
creating false images from far too many lies.

The sights and sounds of nature are all around,
just for a second look, listen and you may hear,
the essence of superior elegance will astound,
a gift forever giving to cherish and hold dear.

Waterfalls cascading with an omnipotent flow,
still waters of a mountain lake so crystal clear,
in this mystic world there is so little we know,
but nature’s ecstasy and grandeur is always near.
