Winter Blues - A Naga-Uta

Winter Blues

High winds, scudding clouds
Trees bending, shedding their leaves
Winter blues are here
Grey skies dominate our days
Promise of cold nights
Chill winds blow and cut to bone
Clear night sky, star bright
Indicate frosty morning
All will be painted frost white.

What a lovely picture you have painted - shouldn't be too long before we get some of that same "frostiness"!

Yes, to all of that and I'm ready for some cool here in the deep south. Nice wording.

Hi Jackie,
Ahhhh but yet dear lady,
a good time to cuddle in
front of the fireplace
with your love sipping
on hot chocolate.. :)

Great write as always...

I hate winter chills! But I loved your poem,
and, like Ed, the lettering as well.

Love the chilly blue lettering, Jackie. And the poem. Unfortunately, the Big Chill is, indeed, on the way.
