About the time you think you're done

You’ll find your life has just begun.

So many things you must complete—

No time to sleep;

No time to eat.

No time for chatting with your friends

(Must find a way to make amends).

Too rushed, you think,

Should probably run,

Knowing things can’t be left undone.

So if old age has you upset,

My friends, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

Unending the things you must do . . .

Just when you thought your life was through.

There’s always work to do my friends.

That’s why life never really ends.

That's my Lonny... sigh... must you always be so boldly honest? Hmmmm.. of course you must! You ooze truth... and write it with rhythm and booms! Good piece, dear poet. katy xox.

Yes!
Let's not look at the "end" of the road, lest
we overlook all the beauty the trip has
to offer. Life is a Journey...not a Destination.
Nice piece, Londis!
