The Truth About Flowers
Romana 04/05/2012
I would like to send you a nice flower,
No red roses or fancy ones just yet,
So maybe a colorful daisy or two,
Daisy, daisy, they were all crazy.
Who was crazy…colorful daisies? No,
Dinosaurs and their insatiable appetites,
For all those fresh, delicious plants,
They gulped, tromped on, and smashed.
A frenzied feeding binge like a stampede,
Left surreal countryside in their wake,
Replaced with fast-growing flowers,
Long after they’re all pushing up daisies.
