The Gamut...

What a night to drive home tonight...

The Gamut…

I ran through the gamut this night,

While driving home from my work,

Thunder, Lightening, Rain, Freezing rain & sleet,

Not to forget the ultimate in driving pleasure,

That of driving through that white stuff, the snow…

The roads were clear, but it was coming down quite fast,

Couldn’t see through my windshield, even with the wiper on fast,

The defroster could not keep up, with the ice on the windshield,

So I just had to drive slower, damn I hate that, I get home later…

But here I am at home; I still made the normal time,

Got home and took Rufuz for his walk and fed him late, what a crime,

Since then I am here, writing to you and about me, just as this poem says,

Stopping now, have to have that evening buzz, to make my day end so prime…
