Home in Time…

Got home just in time, I did,

Walked and fed Rufuz, my hairy kid,

Just as we came in the rain it started to fall,

What the hell, what the hay, I am home, warm and all…

Maybe a little nap, yes just that,

Prior to getting up and eating dinner,

Yes that idea, it sounds like a winner,

Tomorrow we are off, the beach we are going,

Better than sitting at home just sewing…

I am sure we will have stories to tell,

Rufuz gets so happy, he can only yell,

But I will calm him down; will give him a shell,

And he will be happy, content, & warm as hell…
