Smells Like BBQ

Rufuz has food, snacks from his mom, that all smell like good food to me, and he does most certainly agree...

Smells Like BBQ…

Yes, it smells like BBQ,

At least to Rufuz and I, it do,

The bone he got from his mom today,

He is eating it as we speak, yes he do…

Biscuits for dogs may not look too tasty,

All dry and hard and pasty,

But believe me when I say, they are sometimes great,

Dipping them in the food on my tray, not though according to my mate…

But for Rufuz he loves his mommy’s gifts, snacks, French fries and chicken from dinner,

He knows her by the color of her car; or the size or style; I am not sure,

He goes just about nuts, as does his dad, when his nuts she does touch…

Yes, even she smells of BBQ, but more on a sexual basis than what Rufuz says,

I could eat her, till I die and go to heaven, there we would keep it up,

Oh yes, for all the rest of eternity she would have me, can’t you see?

Enough of this write, so sexual and then again not,

For I know not what I write, nor can I go on without a cold shower,

At least I will be clean, three cold showers to day in a row…

Ed, I always wondered what your poems would be like if instead of Rufuz, you had a cat or a snake....Nah... don't want to go there!!

Ed, you have your unique style and expression, that's no lie.

There is this fine fellow named Ed
Who's got poems all in his head
He's a real nice guy
And you know he'll get by
With Rufuz not far from his bed

Okay so I suck but I just came up with that in less than a minute so give me a break Ed and Rufuz. Love and peace. Regis
