Road-Kill Stew...  

Found on the road, as the title states,

Through out the lands and all of the states,

Road-kill stew can be made from mainly small creatures,

That have ventured out on the road of man, gotten squished, so ugly…

Need to bring along a shovel, sharp on the edge,

Must scrape the future stew off of the road,

Also must be cautious not to become,

Road-kill stew yourself,

As drivers don’t know the difference between a human and a toad…

Personally I do avoid hitting little animals, as best I can,

I won’t therein kill myself trying to miss them, at least that is my plan,

I see so many deer, on the side of the roads, nibbling on something in the grass,

And I pray they just stay where it is they stand,

Till I get past, and try to scare them away from that of man…

Blowing the horn does little to sway them,

Stand there and stare at me, they do,

You won’t scare me they seem to be touting,

I just want them to be scared enough so they don’t run,

Into the path of an oncoming car or truck,

As road-kill stew is delicious, I would prefer it to be something small,

Not as big as a deer, they are so cute standing there…
