Opinions are Like Onions

Opinions can also be like bunions as well as onions...

Opinions…

Opinions are like onions,

Most of the time they reek,

Yes they do, they smell so stinky,

Some mean a lot, yes they are of great size,

Some mean so little; yes they are dinky,

But the kinds I like are the ones that are really kinky…

When opinions come from those we respect & admire,

I must truly admit, I read them as if I was on fire,

For they are the ones that are worth my time,

Most of my friends, and some that are not,

Are in this group of opinionated minions…

Opinions are like bunions,

You live with them while they are there,

You don’t miss them when they are gone,

So share yours with me, feel free,

And we will all go on thru life, I am sure you will agree,

All happy, and full of glee…

"KInky"??? Ed,, did you say "kinky"??? Oky Dokey, then... lol. In my opinion (there's THAT word.. ) this is a rollicking commentary, straight from your ever-thinking, (kinky??) mind... Yep. Onions are lovely... easy to peeeeeeal... hehehe.. You can keep the bunions, though.. ick! LOL.. katy xox.

Ed;

Correct, Ed. Opinions are like onions, but every once in a while a big ol' clove of garlic shows up and the reader wonders whether to digest it or not knowing that it is good for one's health but that its powerful odor, pleasing to some but very unpleasant to many others, will be on his/her breath for a long time.

Love that title, Ed! I like the abstracted opinions, myself, ones that have black and white twisted into a spiral and send thoughts off to "What-the-hell?' Land! Especially at 4:20, see you then! ;)
