One of THOSE Moments in Time

Seem to be short on muse or ideas again right now, won't last but...you know how I feel, I know you do...ed

One of “THOSE” Moments in Time…

Seems my muse has taken a powder,

On vacation from me as it were,

Skipped out & left me hangin’,

In that lurch that is spoken of, can’t say it any louder…

I know it will return, when I cannot stop myself,

And that lil’ writers elf,

From composing and compiling new ideas from the self…

I cannot even write herein without help,

I guess I am gonna have to herein again, yelp,

But we all get them, even those of us with insanity in our veins,

Such as this wacky, crazy, weird writer that is speaking to you without any brains…

It seems as I look at this screen, that I find no desire,

Stuck am I in this mucky muddy mire,

I am so much in need, yes I am, so much in dire,

Maybe I need to be lit on fire,

Or better yet, it may just be a better time to just retire…

It will come, Ed--we have to be patient. You finished this one, didn't you? Well said; we should heed the hidden meaning. b

Isn't it fascinating, Ed, that as we mourn the missing muse, we write about that very thing?! (smile) I did a poem about 'writer's block'.. then realized, I'd just written something! LOL.. ah, you can't stop us, that's the thing.. jump right in, the "water" is fine. katy xox.

Well you posted this
and it's fine...
We all have our days
I find when, if I try too hard to write
I can't...
