Scary what one finds when they clean...

Poem Artwork

Screamin’ Meemies…

That’s what I got,

Cleaned today and found a nest,

Of spiders and ants and bee’s what’s next…

I can live with ants; I mean I can put up with them,

And bees don’t bother me either, but spiders are not friends,

They may be one of Natures creatures but to me they are frightful,

Must be all those creature features I watched as a kid,

I want to call the exterminator; I want to get rid…

I cleaned out the nests, to the best of my ability,

I guess I am a wuss, that is my disability,

No more will I allow my cleaning duties to go so long,

As I have seen first hand what can happen, what can go wrong…

Time for me to go to work, I hope the bees don’t return & scare me later,

Should I turn on my electronic pest control, leave it turned up, or put it on fader?

Well, for now, no more little creatures of the 8 legged variety,

Causing me to have major anxiety,

I don’t mind them living someplace, but in their own world, their own society…

LOL ED K! :-)

The fear of the spider often comes from the movies I think. Some say a past life experience. I watched one grow from a baby to a full grown spider in my home and then excorted him out of my home to the ground below.

We all have our fears and ways to deal with it. Cleaning them away from your home is a good idea if they make you uneasy. Thanks for the sharing.

'I guess I am a wuss.'

I guess that I have to agree with you, Ed! Most spiders are benign, and actually help rid the world of real pests. But you are in luck, my friend! One of my beloved tarantula pets just had babies. I've just sent you a parcel - Fed Ex - enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!
