This one Matt, you have got to read, as it is almost altogether directed at you...I hope you do...!

A Rough Day…

Drove over three hundred miles today,

Enjoyed it but still was rough,

When I do get home I look forward to emails from the Den,

All the wonderful stories, poems and prose,

From all the great story tellers, poets that have grown,

But alas, my email box was empty; I even did check my spam,

Not one email from the Den came through, not one poem did I get,

Is this the end of the Den’s email program, or is it still just off set?

These stories, poems and like that, do so much to brighten my mood,

Be it from Anna Marie, Ed K, Katy, Kate C, or the special K twins,

Or maybe from Tinka, John Z, or Scott Zachary,

All of them and more make my day, my night, my life so bright,

Please to the powers of the Den that be, help me to get my life back,

For without the above writers so intelligent,

I may lose my life and go towards the light…

My day was never so tough, or rough as I said,

That coming home to my friends at the Den,

It was not a pick me up, as it always is, written in bright red,

Makes me wonder what I did prior to coming here,

I must have just sat and moped and got depressed and sad,

Never again will this part of me return, at the moment I am just mad…

Where are my friend’s poems, hey Matt, you did say,

You were fixing the problem, but apparently not today,

If I send you a poem, made just for you, will you fix this problem?

With all due haste, please, let me herein reiterate, PLEASE, don’t waste,

Any more time on any other pastimes, as this is important, it cannot wait…
