Old age does come, can't wish it away...

Muscular...

I am not,

Seems I pull more muscles than I got,

Not am I here complaining,

Just is my life, yes, my lot…

Cannot lift a great deal,

Except on a fork, yes a meal,

My TV remote does give me exercise,

My thumb & forefinger don’t tell lies…

What shall I do, with my muscles so pulled?

In my back, in my chest, and yes in my groin too,

Is this the beginnings of old age?

Will I now become and forever be an old sage?

Dispensing knowledge, blessing those in a cage,

All this does nothing but increase my rage,

Better to just get past it and turn the page…

Honey in my book, you are never old! I can remember, that is when I still could remember....lol, that we would sit & talk about when we would chase each other around. Both of us with our canes & then sitting on our front porch in our rocking chairs....lol.

"...seems I pull more muscles than I got..."
Oh, Ed...I laughed heartily over this line, especially, as I
am sitting here feeling the effects of digging out a pond by
hand!
