Loony do I get, this time of the month, yes even guys do get that time, 'specially with the full moon...

Poem Artwork

Speaks to me in riddles, that he does,

Tells me to eat the dog’s kibbles, just because,

Constantly in my head, especially when I got a buzz,

Maybe this writer is just so full of fuzz…

Speaks to me in tongues,

Languages I have never heard of, let alone understand,

Talks he does, to me when the moon is full,

Only hear him breathing the rest of the month, in and out of his lungs…

I try not to talk back, as others think I am quite crazed,

I always find myself thoroughly amazed, at his ability to leave me dazed,

He brings to me this feeling of being up so high, yes raised…

No, herein I cannot discuss this, or I shall find myself in another rubber room,

Sharing with the guy next door my opinions on the effects of the full moon,

Or on my abilities to become and maybe I am already there, that of this particular loon…

Fear not, Ed.. you're among friends, some of us certified "loons" ourselves! (grin) You know something? I think this is one of your very best! Yep.. I sure do.. I love your personification of the loon.. and the whole atmosphere that is so recognizable when the moon is full. Oh, YES! This was a most appealing read, my friend. katy xox.
