Hot I Be

Damn hot flashes...

Hot I Be…

Damn hot do I be,

Must be the hot flashes,

Though my air is on,

Cooling only my eye lashes…

The rest of me, so hot it does seem,

Taking off more clothes,

Does not to me to be a fitting idea,

No I definitely do not deem…

So what should I do?

Take a cold shower,

Run thru the sprinkler,

Take a swim in the water tower?

I f you have an answer,

For these sweats I do get,

Please send them along,

As the more I do get,

The more I do sweat,

And the more I do sweat,

It seems the more I do stink,

Much like standing water in the sink…

Anything you can offer,

Will be of course graciously accepted,

And kept in the safety of my coffer,

Never to be seen nor touched by human hands,

Except for that of my own, I must read it after all,

It being me in the end that requested it & that’s all…

This is meant to be a fun answer but not to take your plight lightly.
Since you have been given good advice previously, I will say, hang in there, it will all be over soon, the flashes that is(smile) or keep alarge glass of crushed ice handy, works for me!

Jump in the tub and cover yourself with ice! Or you can do what Bill suggested. The latter you may find much more pleasant than the former.

Ed buy some scented soap and take a bubble bath with 'bubbles' if you can find her. She will know what to do. All women know what to do.

Here is what you do: Get a shovel, and head out to a nice flat, muddy, area. Construct a Sweat Lodge from mud and twigs, build the hottest coal fire you can inside it, strip naked, and sit in there for several hours. You will sweat out all the bad, and once you emerge, your spirit will be lifted, and you will smell like a rose.
(Old Navajo remedy. I have one in my crawl space-very refreshing!)

well you painted a wonderful smelly picture of yourself here Ed, first Rufus and now you..lol.
Ok.....Run your wrists under cold water, put an ice pak wrapped in a cloth near to you, remove all bodily hair, get a slave to fan you all day, volunteer for duty in a wind tunnel, cover yourself in ice lolly.
Does that help?...poor you. You still manage to write the humor even at boiling point it seems.
